the juice brewery: start-up branding and packaging
I was hired for this project to concept design some packaging options for a first-of-a-kind adult juice drink. Made in a brewery and using some of the brewing process but non-alcoholic, it was aimed at a market for people not drinking alcohol but wanting a more complex flavour than the normal carbonated or fruit juice drinks. At this stage of the marketing process the product didn't even have a definite name, so I was very much working alongside the makers as we all felt our way to the correct brand positioning within the market. Many routes were tried with names including J-Brew, Hedd, Marlows and H - before settling on the Hopper range.
